Walter Ford received the first ever Mills-Hunt award for his dedication to SpecE30 and his huge contribution to making NorCal SpecE30 grow as it has. Walter was given the award at Nationals last week in Utah. Carter Hunt sent the award plaque to the race track where NorCal SpecE30 Regional Director Scott Neville presented in front of all the SpecE30 racers attending Nationals. According to National Race Director Carter Hunt, "Spec E30 Co-founder Mike Mills and I thought Walter would be a great example for the first Mills/Hunt award, Spec E30's highest award. The award will be given periodically, to individuals who have demonstrated support and dedication to the success of our series". This is a special award for service to SpecE30 and Walter is the first recipient of the award.
Congratulations to Walter...his enthusiasm and generosity to all has made our series in NorCal what it is. I am proud to be a part of this series and even prouder of my friend Walter getting recognized for his efforts of the last three years.
