Well I think it all starts the same,
$500 dollar budget and $7,000 dollars later and I have a racecar.
It all started with the first NASA event I shared with my friends
Donny and Eric at Infineon raceway last year. All it took was to
ride in the back seat of a Cadillac CTS-V, I know it really isn’t
a sports car, hell for that matter its not much of a good grocery
getter, but with Donny behind the wheel, it was a ride to remember.
I was hooked. My car (ole faithful) (three engines later) is number
804 due to extensive research and troubleshooting with slight overhaul
and Complete engine replacement, started and ran for the first time
at exactly 8:04 pm. Ever since then it has been a joyous experience
of spending every available dollar improving or just replacing items.
All the help I received along the way has been priceless.
I welcome all new comers to NORCAL spece30 with the same support.
Thanks to the following:
NASA, Western Engineers, Valley Motorwerks, Bimmer world, I/O port
racing, Donny’s Garage, Signs Plus, and finally SPECE30.COM
I plan to enter my first race in April 07.
Wish me luck.
